Becky Herschbach
Executive Director
Becky has a comprehensive background in the developmental disabilities field as both a service provider and a funder.
Becky graduated from SIUE and began her career as a job coach at Life Skills Foundation (Easter Seals Midwest), where she discovered an affinity for helping people with developmental disabilities become more independent. Her career path led her to serve as a Service Coordinator with the Department of Mental Health, St. Louis Regional Center, advocating for and ensuring quality services for families. Emmaus Homes provided the opportunity to manage services at an organizational level, and almost 10 years at United Way helped hone the skills necessary to develop and lead a large scale community investment process. While at United Way Becky also completed her MBA at Webster University.
Becky values the opportunity to bridge the relationships between families, provider agencies, funders, and taxpayers. She focuses on creating solutions, keeping the needs of people in St. Louis County with I/DD at the core of PLB's work.
